NOTICE FOR UPWARD MOVEMENT

Only following candidates are eligible for upward movement/2nd counselling
(1) Those candidates who have been allotted college, and they have reported to the allotted institution
(2) Those candidates who had their choice exhausted and could not get any college

NOTE : Those students who have not reported to the allotted institute will not be eligible for upward movement

PROCEDURE :
(1) Candidate has to fill up a agreement letter (available on the website) and deposit it to any of the following nodal centres till 06-september-2010.
Those who have been allotted the college must attach the photocopy of the receipt of the fees deposited in the college.

(2) those who will fill the agreement letter will be shufflrd on the basis of the merit and then only a new institution will be allotted. Present allottment will automatically be cancelled if the student get a new college in upward movement.
If presently a student is on the TFWS seat, then its not necessary that he/she will get TFWS seat in the new allotted college, in this case the student has to deposit full fees in the new institution.

(3) No preferences in the agreement letter will be entertained(any special branch/institution)

(4) The shuffling will be done on the basis of old option form, any new branch/college allotted to the student will not be informed personally to the student. The information will be available on the website or newspapers

(5) In case of new allottment, old institution will transfer all the documents to the new institution.

(6) Please do not send agreement letter through post. Deposit it to the nodal centres till 06-09-10 upto 05:00 pm

Hi all,
This is to inform you that before filling option form some things are to be kept in mind, although guidelines have been provided to fill the option form, but i need to give some advice before filling option form. One major thing which is considered in engineering is the stream/branch you opt for, college remains with you for only 4 years but branch will be with you for whole life, so give stress on branch too. In good colleges also there are some branches in which placements are not so good while in some of them placements are very convincing. College should be filled on the basis of placements they are providing, because ultimately it is the placement which a student desires from a college, study level is almost same or could vary somewhere but more emphasis should be there on placementwise good college. For your convinience the university has provided option form for filling choices of more than 170, you can download that too. best of luck to all of you

Although placements are more in colleges of jaipur as compared to colleges of other cities of Rajasthan but there is no govt. college for RPET in Jaipur, so students should think wisely before filling option form.
